In the 14th minute, Fellipe Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After taking down the ball on Barcellos Mineiro FC's corner Gernando Bueno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sílvio Moraes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Terra to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Enio Azevedo. Murilo Mattos was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 46th minute Zé Pedro Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Eduardo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Enio Azevedo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Teodoro Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sílvio Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Cearense to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Goblins F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
