After 19 played minutes, Palestra do Interior's William Luz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Freitas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palestra do Interior reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Serafim Simão made the kick off in the second half. Toa Toa 4EVER's João Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Mazer in the 55th minute of play.
