An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Almeida in the 48th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Serafim Simão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The Goblins F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palestra do Interior were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
