The supporters of Palmares Futebol Clube booed when ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palmares Futebol Clube's Francisco Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Quadros in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, João Carlos Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Palmares Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Antunes. In the 74th minute Claudinei Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Vicente Ferraz got a free kick in the 78th minute. Glauco Gaúcho's late challenge caught a Palmares Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glauco Gaúcho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Alagoano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
