A hard shot by Kauan Valle from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Francisco Alagoano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dário Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Fellipe Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldão Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Calleri, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Allan Souto lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 22 minutes into the game, one of Scarlet Speedster:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute Gerson Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauan Valle in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Alagoano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes, Kauan Valle made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Palmares Futebol Clube's Francisco Alagoano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauan Valle during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kauan Valle hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmares Futebol Clube reached it. Ronaldão Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scarlet Speedster's Ronaldão Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ferraz in the 45th minute of play. Dário Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dário Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when Palmares Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José de Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Ronaldão Lucas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudinei Loureiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. Alex Falcão's late challenge caught a Palmares Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Falcão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Scarlet Speedster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Falcão to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Vicente Ferraz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldão Lucas skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Scarlet Speedster's Ronaldão Lucas got control of the ball when Jo Calleri tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Palmares Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vicente Ferraz hit a great ball. With a little luck, Scarlet Speedster's Ronaldão Lucas got control of the ball when Jo Calleri tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Jo Calleri made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldão Lucas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Palmares Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palmares Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
