The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jhon Barcellos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. William Rezende came out and tried to block the shot, but Jhon Barcellos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Alan Paraíba. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The referee showed Ulysses Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dedé Mazer scored 9-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Rezende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palestra do Interior had played much better football throughout.
