FALCÕES VERDES's Clóvis Marinho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sílvio Moraes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dudu Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Cearense hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Maicon Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Clóvis Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Goblins F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Pedro Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano got control of the ball when Felipe Drogba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júlio Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sílvio Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FALCÕES VERDES. In the 63rd play minute Zé Pedro Mendes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dalmo Sergipano. 0-1. In the 67th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Schmidt. Sílvio Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Diniz in the 74th minute of play. FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Mendes in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano got control of the ball when Felipe Drogba tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goblins F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
