Diguinho Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Mota to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Walmyr Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvaldo de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Cardoso in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Cardoso in the 29th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Edvaldo de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Faria came free, but João Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Quintal took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo de Sousa. Edvaldo de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Toa Toa 4EVER's Acácio de Alcântara got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes Toa Toa 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Alves. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hélder Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Freitas came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Natã de Toledo. But to his dismay, Natã de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. João Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Acácio de Alcântara hit a great ball. If Walmyr Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edvaldo de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Quintal in the 81st minute of the match. After 88 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Leão. João Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Walmyr Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wesley Severo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Wesley Severo fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toa Toa 4EVER's protests and gave Wesley Severo a yellow card for diving instead. Wesley Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
