Marc Anthonissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Alagoano in the 12th minute of play. SeaForD were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Daniszew SSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aram Arzumanyan took the corner. The audience was convinced that Harold Loozen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Taules was relentless in the 36th minute of the game.
