Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Toon Teunens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Dimofte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Petre Dimofte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kieth Hacke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Toon Teunens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petre Dimofte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toon Teunens in the 10th minute of the match. Ozzie Laughton kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Toon Teunens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Dimofte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Toon Teunens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Rann got free with Ball Packert in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kieth Hacke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Thoona's goal looked a bit too open when Toon Teunens came free, but Petre Dimofte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Ulan Bator Football Club got a corner. Thoona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berne Chant during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berne Chant hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Petre Dimofte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toon Teunens, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Toon Teunens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Petre Dimofte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toon Teunens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Dimofte having to interfere. In the 44th minute Toon Teunens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Dimofte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toon Teunens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toon Teunens was the one to do the kick off. Toon Teunens in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petre Dimofte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Toon Teunens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Dimofte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kieth Hacke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. A collision led to Ulan Bator Football Club getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dany-Adams Van Deyck hit a great ball. When Ozzie Laughton fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thoona's protests and gave Ozzie Laughton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Chuck Pack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ball Packert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Huff in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kieth Hacke in the 69th minute of play forced Thoona's goalkeeper Petre Dimofte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes Thoona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze who took care of the corner kick. Jarno Depelsmaker made a great header on Ulan Bator Football Club's corner, it was just that Thoona's Petre Dimofte managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kieth Hacke got free with Petre Dimofte in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzie Laughton in the 77th minute of play forced Ulan Bator Football Club's goalkeeper Ball Packert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulan Bator Football Club's Stephan Spoelberghe was substituted for Dany-Adams Van Deyck. Petre Dimofte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kieth Hacke in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kieth Hacke kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petre Dimofte. That made the score 0-3 in the 87 minute of play. In the 95th minute, Ulan Bator Football Club's Ros Vos de Vos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Petre Dimofte. Petre Dimofte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The Ulan Bator Football Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ulan Bator Football Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
