Adérito Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anis Achour having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goalkeeper Claudemiro Tristão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tacettin Umay. 20 minutes into the game, Tomás San Juan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Claudemiro Tristão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anis Achour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Rebelo in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Adérito Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Achour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Veiga was the one to do the kick off. GD Almargense's Joško Gvardiol got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celso Eiró sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anis Achour made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Celso Eiró sent off a good shot on target.
