The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Grondzki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. But to his dismay, Kılıçalp Akdemirci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 76 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfü Yezid came free, but Norbert Grondzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Grondzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 played minutes KKS Lech Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Kiepski. In the 91st minute Ebi Smolarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedrettin Kamuran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BEYOĞLU ÇUKURCUMA 1965's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
