The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anthar Mhenni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Arnoldo Leicea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anthar Mhenni came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnoldo Leicea could save by the left post. Diego Armando Santirso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walery Bejger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Rydberg in the 30th minute of the match. Walery Bejger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mecnun Seha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Pacolet's late challenge caught a MarineerS MzC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Pacolet helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthar Mhenni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Pacolet in the 50th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as MarineerS MzC's Valentin Rydberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walery Bejger. That made the score 1-2 after 84 minutes of play. MarineerS MzC's Cezmi Gök was substituted for Diego Armando Santirso. MarineerS MzC made a substitution. Serafino Modestio replaced Dinç Tuncay. After having played for 89 minutes, Cezmi Gök managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarineerS MzC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezmi Gök was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Leicea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthar Mhenni's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MarineerS MzC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
