Edmonds Turner came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by El Vigia FC's Ovidio Froylan. But to his dismay, Ovidio Froylan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. El Vigia FC's Dante King suffered a sore foot after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Adolph Orvad charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolph Orvad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Doolbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolph Orvad to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, El Vigia FC's Cristo Santio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmonds Turner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Doolbi! When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, El Vigia FC's Criston Oro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edmonds Turner. In the 23rd minute, Brooks Coote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brooks Coote hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Cristo Santio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmonds Turner. The goal made the score 6-0. After 30 minutes, Lance Glover mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doolbi and the El Vigia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmonds Turner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Froylan in the 31st minute. Inacio Garrote hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Ovidio Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Cristo Santio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Doolbi's Brooks Coote got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Cristo Santio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Oreilly during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of El Vigia FC booed when Doolbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Oreilly didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brooks Coote made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Mitxaut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmonds Turner. Doolbi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Mitxaut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Inacio Garrote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Edmonds Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Mangueira took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmonds Turner. Edmonds Turner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Edmonds Turner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes El Vigia FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Mangueira. Doolbi's Edmonds Turner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inacio Garrote in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Wilfredo Mitxaut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Vigia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. 73 minutes into the game, El Vigia FC's Inacio Garrote nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 92nd minute Patrick Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmonds Turner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Froylan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Edmonds Turner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Vigia FC. 96 minutes into the match, Doolbi's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Santio came free, but Edmonds Turner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
