An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Hodges in the 4th minute of play forced GFK Osogovo's goalkeeper Jerzy Cetnar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Migjen Mena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GFK Osogovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Migjen Mena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliver Blacksmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Migjen Mena in the 13th minute of play. Oliver Blacksmith made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Cezary Sawicki sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Diego Hitzeder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Blacksmith was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rūdolfs Blaumanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Oliver Blacksmith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Hitzeder got free with Oliver Blacksmith in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerzy Cetnar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Hodges in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, U21 Senegal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Carr to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Cetnar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Welch in the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Cezary Sawicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cezary Sawicki in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oliver Blacksmith, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, U21 Senegal's Joel Hodges got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Migjen Mena made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Blacksmith. U21 Senegal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
51 minutes into the game, Kirk Welch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Senegal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GFK Osogovo the free kick. The supporters of GFK Osogovo booed when U21 Senegal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirk Welch didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Hitzeder in the 56th minute of play forced U21 Senegal's goalkeeper Oliver Blacksmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cezary Sawicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Travis Buckley kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Diego Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Blacksmith having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Migjen Mena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Senegal's Oliver Blacksmith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cezary Sawicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. U21 Senegal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Migjen Mena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When Migjen Mena came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the GFK Osogovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Migjen Mena couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Hitzeder in the 91st minute of play forced U21 Senegal's goalkeeper Oliver Blacksmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes, Cezary Sawicki made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Senegal's Oliver Blacksmith tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliver Blacksmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Sawicki in the 97th minute of the match. GFK Osogovo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
