Seçkin Öksüzoğlu went to the cornerflag to take it. Rega Merida CF were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elpidio Umbruso took the corner. The corner ended in Constantin Arnăuțescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin did a great save. Nistor Sârban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Batıkan Muhsin made a huge save. 36 minutes into the game, Nistor Sârban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Batıkan Muhsin. Nistor Sârban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 39th minute, Nistor Sârban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batıkan Muhsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Sârban in the 52nd minute of play forced Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elpidio Umbruso who took care of the corner kick. Batıkan Muhsin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Sârban went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Nistor Sârban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batıkan Muhsin was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seçkin Öksüzoğlu in the 62nd minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 64th minute of play. Constantin Arnăuțescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıkan Muhsin having to interfere. Rega Merida CF's La Piszczek was substituted for Yaroslav Svitlychnyi. A collision led to Rega Merida CF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ryan Gravenhorst hit a great ball. Ryan Gravenhorst kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Sârban in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Rega Merida CF got a corner. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Umbruso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elpidio Umbruso made a great header on Rega Merida CF's corner, it was just that Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 89thth minute of the game Nistor Sârban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Konstanty Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo James in the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Nistor Sârban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Batıkan Muhsin. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nistor Sârban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Rega Merida CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC for a fine match.
