Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Eudoxio in the 9th minute of play. Nemesio Eudoxio took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Davor Šuker's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serafim Eanes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dionisia were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Black Rose 1979's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florencio Chano took the corner. The corner led Dionisia's Florencio Chano to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Johan Ahlqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Serafim Eanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davor Šuker in the 24th minute. Black Rose 1979 were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Dionisia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastian Enekoitz took the corner. Saverio Venceslas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elias Palos made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Davor Šuker however managed to control.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Guipuzkoa to make the kick off. Black Rose 1979's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Nemesio Eudoxio scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Johan Ahlqvist, making the score, 0-2. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davor Šuker, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Palos to maneuver through the defense. Dionisia made a substitution. Mauro Esiquio replaced Saverio Venceslas. Black Rose 1979's Sebastian Enekoitz suffered a sore thigh after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tomás Xacintu's late challenge caught a Black Rose 1979's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Xacintu helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Xacintu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Black Rose 1979's Elias Palos tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Esiquio in the 80th minute of play. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Esiquio in the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Melchor Gregory could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Karl-Johan Ahlqvist however easily saved by the left post. In the 84th minute, Florencio Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dionisia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Enzo-Nicolás Pérez got a free kick in the 86th minute. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 89th minute of play. If Jaime Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes, Wilson Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Rose 1979 and the Dionisia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Cruz.

The Dionisia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
