An unexpectedly hard shot by Elco Das in the 23rd minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ALTHENTIC F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
