Fidel Frances might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Paly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Frances ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Frances in the 5th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Téo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lastra Pinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Frances might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Paly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Frances ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goalkeeper Lastra Pinga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pirmin Jäggi. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Georges Gladu hit a great ball. If Fidel Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Şenol Yildıran managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by İlkan Mahşer in the 23 minute of the game. Fidel Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Frances in the 28th minute of play. Emery Heller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Lastra Pinga made a huge save. After 33 minutes of play, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Fidel Frances made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lionel Paly was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Osorio came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Jacinto Barea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly did a great save. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Fidel Frances got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fidel Frances came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Frances couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. İlkan Mahşer hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacinto Barea ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 47th minute, Tory Pryor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Frances to make the kick off. Lastra Pinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goal looked a bit too open when Tory Pryor came free, but Lastra Pinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lionel Paly made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Fidel Frances sent off a good shot on target. When FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goalie prevented a goal. Arnaldo Bihar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. FC Wil 1900 made a substitution. Sobah Rico replaced İlkan Mahşer. After 71 played minutes Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Bihar. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Lastra Pinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Leisibach in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emery Heller in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lastra Pinga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidel Frances's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Paly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ made a substitution. Valerio Suarez replaced Cirilo Osorio. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Wil 1900's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bona Corona was slow to take the kick. During this time Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Josué Brito to fire away a dangerous shot which Lionel Paly despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Lastra Pinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Leisibach in the 85th minute of play. Lastra Pinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emery Heller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fidel Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fidel Frances charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Frances the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Frances to maneuver through the defense. Lionel Paly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Frances in the 92nd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Fidel Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
