Patagonia's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tang Yang Le. In the 17th minute Karol Panasewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Panasewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A.C. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Panasewicz in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blue Mountain State were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after A.C. Patagonia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afşar Uçuk took the corner. The corner led Blue Mountain State's Afşar Uçuk to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Schmeichel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dariusz Wos took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robin Sharma. Robin Sharma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dariusz Wos made the kick off in the second half. Robin Sharma had great luck who in the 52ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Dariusz Wos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience was convinced that Karol Panasewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Schmeichel was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Dariusz Wos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Robin Sharma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Peter Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşar Uçuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st match minute, A.C. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Faccio to maneuver through the defense. A.C. Patagonia's Sylwester Sroka was substituted for Rui Costa. Blue Mountain State's George Popescu was substituted for Tang Yang Le. A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo was substituted for Dariusz Wos. Bruno Faccio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Lionel-Andrés Messi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Schmeichel having to make a save.
