Protegéerna's Xu Yi Chong quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Ignazio Corrales managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Xu Yi Chong in the 15 minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bolo Skjold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Jakob Lundin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurel Crivoi. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakob Lundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 37th minute, Hector Hugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Hugo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 67th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Protegéerna's Andres Lander was substituted for Fernando Arango. A nice corner shot did that Michael Näver got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurel Crivoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 79 minutes of play, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's David Israel Blue made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bolo Skjold was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Bernt Offendahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The audience was convinced that Bernt Offendahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bolo Skjold was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 88th minute of the game Ignazio Corrales made a throw-in which David Israel Blue played forward. Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Michnik in the 94th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Protegéerna defense, Bernt Offendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bolo Skjold. The Protegéerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bolo Skjold should have stopped the shot.
