Emilio Shepherd came out of the goal and Soner Midilli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karim Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Karim Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KN ZGORZELEC booed when Valhalla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qian Ning Zhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wessel Bos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benicio Larez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wessel Bos in the 34th minute of the match. Du Fan Fei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute, Karim Morientes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emilio Shepherd, passed just outside the right post. Karim Morientes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Gotfryd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Morientes in the 45th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Soner Midilli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valhalla F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KN ZGORZELEC the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karim Morientes made a kick off. Wessel Bos might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benicio Larez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wessel Bos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute, Karim Morientes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. KN ZGORZELEC made a substitution. Borys Karaszkiewicz replaced Emiliano Felice. In the 65th minute André Luís Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Larez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Shepherd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benicio Larez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Chrobak in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Chrobak in the 68th minute of play forced Valhalla F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Larez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Larez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wessel Bos's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karim Morientes in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Shepherd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valhalla F.C.'s Milio Baca was substituted for Bai Yong Yi. Valhalla F.C. made a substitution. Radek Majewski replaced Du Fan Fei. Valhalla F.C.'s Izel Ronaldo was substituted for Karim Morientes. Gaxan Barrena charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaxan Barrena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emilio Shepherd came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Valhalla F.C.'s Izel Ronaldo. But to his dismay, Izel Ronaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
