Cornelio Asteri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Isidoro Baristo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Mazuste. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Baristo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Tigres Ñacuñán FC's zone, Eusebio Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Mazuste came out of the goal and Eusebio Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tigres Ñacuñán FC booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Mariano Llorian made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 25 minutes of play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Christian Bergqvist made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Sinan Okergun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Asteri. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Asteri should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute Mariano Llorian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Bergqvist came free, but Cornelio Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Sinan Okergun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigres Ñacuñán FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Guansa's Cornelio Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Bergqvist in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Tigres Ñacuñán FC were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 53 minutes, Andres Pitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Pitin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute of the match, Christian Bergqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cornelio Asteri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eloy Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Baristo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Christian Bergqvist scored 0-9 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Asteri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cornelio Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinan Okergun in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Frans Pedolles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guansa the free kick. A collision led to Tigres Ñacuñán FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Frans Pedolles hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Bergqvist in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Asteri saved Guansa from getting behind. Cesar Opilano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mauro Ordono hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Christian Bergqvist notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Guansa's Cornelio Asteri. Cornelio Asteri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the game, Christian Bergqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelio Asteri. Christian Bergqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. After a defensive mix-up in Guansa's zone, Mariano Llorian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Asteri came out of the goal and Mariano Llorian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Okergun in the 84th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Cornelio Asteri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Baristo in the 86th minute of play. Cornelio Asteri was a little too slow when Christian Bergqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-12. Sinan Okergun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cornelio Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Llorian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Cornelio Asteri made a huge save. After 96 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Hector Terciero. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
