After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Wang Sha Qian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Asteri. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Asteri should have stopped the shot. Cornelio Asteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allen Dalton in the 18th minute of the match. Wang Sha Qian scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Asteri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waldo Renteria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Asteri having to interfere. Cornelio Asteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Lee in the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Wang Sha Qian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascade Park West fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Cornelio Asteri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Baristo to make the kick off. The Cornelio Asteri was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allen Dalton in the 63rd minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Cornelio Asteri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Asteri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amir Lee went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute, Rashad Richardson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cascade Park West's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amir Lee in the 97th minute. Amir Lee was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cascade Park West's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
