Elpidio Francis scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Mourelatos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Branislav Velchevski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Alberto Abascal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Jacinto Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Branislav Velchevski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 45th minute, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branislav Velchevski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

The wind increased when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 70 minutes, André Monclús managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Monclús was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, André Monclús got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Monclús came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Olle Snell got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Mourelatos. Ariel Mourelatos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amboy FC.
