ATLETICO MENDOZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Orlandus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Anastasio Bittor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 38 minutes into the game, Arturo Pirro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Anier Cristos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Matias Txilar got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Nestor Abalos made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After 51 played minutes ATLETICO MENDOZA got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Aritza. 53 minutes into the game, Arturo Pirro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Anier Cristos was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 92 minutes into the match, Federales FC Ψ OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Pirro came free, but Anier Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
