De Boedo Vengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Chucho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Celio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when ATLETICO MENDOZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The De Boedo Vengo fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when De Boedo Vengo's Adan Lorien looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. ATLETICO MENDOZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Senon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Dionisio Corderun got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Esteve Orlandus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cayetano Esdras firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gavino Chucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Celio having to interfere.
