CF Scalonetos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Valentin Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Beliran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Vicente Beliran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Pudes. Paolo Godoy got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Paolo Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The long shot by Teofilo Tiso in the 46th minute really tested Vicente Beliran's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Sixto Ugaitz made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Marco Pudes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Beliran was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Florencio Txeru fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Vicente Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Pudes in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute Serafin Castulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
