Lautaro Kaleniuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milton Giménez in the 33rd minute of the match. With 37 minutes on the clock, Blas-Armando Giunta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Malvin in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's Fausto Abarca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Kaleniuk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Nicanor Lorencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Flavio Orlondon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benicio Txeru. Fulgencio Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Kaleniuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Lorencio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Milton Giménez sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Lautaro Kaleniuk threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Milton Giménez this time. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
