Gavino Chucho came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Candido Millan could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Gomesano during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Amadeo Gomesano hit a great ball. With his leg Candido Millan managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when De Boedo Vengo's Adan Lorien fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Candido Millan made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gavino Chucho sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Donato Kelemen hit a great ball. Lázaro Turi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Gavino Chucho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Millan. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Chucho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 32nd minute Dionisio Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Fernendo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Cayetano Esdras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. After having played for 45 minutes, Gabriel Isauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Boedo Vengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Isauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Millan was a little too slow when Amadeo Gomesano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Gomesano to make the kick off. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Leonides Elizardo hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Baldomiro Gamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Adan Lorien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Millan was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Alvaro Ermano got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Madeo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Palermo defense, Adan Lorien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Millan. The Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Millan should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Isauro took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Candido Millan. Candido Millan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Candido Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Gomesano in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Alvaro Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute Gabriel Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99thth minute of the game Adan Lorien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Candido Millan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. De Boedo Vengo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
