Dolar Blue Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abuba Akotonon FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Dolar Blue Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Rolado. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Shepherd to strike the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Rolado was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Dolar Blue Ψ's Vladimiro Rolado got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute Abuba Akotonon FC were awarded a corner. Haroldo Suarez went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Fulgencio Shepherd drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Dolar Blue Ψ's goalkeeper. Benicio Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Arlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Panfilo in the 78th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Benicio Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Arlo in the 80th minute of play. Fulgencio Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Feliciano Frederik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Jacindo in the 94th minute of play. Feliciano Frederik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Shepherd in the 96th minute of play. If Milton Giménez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Dolar Blue Ψ had been in control for most of the match, Abuba Akotonon FC still came away with the win.
