The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henk Veerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Long Liang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anton Scheupach was slow to take the kick. During this time ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s players had a chance to rest. Long Liang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Chao Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Liang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Veerman's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Cihan Zafer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argir Stariradev in the 16th minute of play. Cihan Zafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Isăilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Dušan Vlahović in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Long Liang came out and tried to block the shot, but Han Chao Sang slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tiburcio Muxica could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Long Liang however easily saved by the left post. In the 39th minute, Tiburcio Muxica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Long Liang was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dušan Vlahović made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sacit Övünç in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Long Liang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Cihan Zafer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Long Liang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Veerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Long Liang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Veerman in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Cihan Zafer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Isăilă got free with Cihan Zafer in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Corné van Basten managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ştefan Iacobucci in the 93 minute of the game. Cihan Zafer was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Manuel Isăilă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Isăilă really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
