Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Boleslaw Zielinski made a precise shot to the right of Maciej Kaczanek. STAL ST WOLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Maciej Kaczanek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boleslaw Zielinski went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lyons's Luisito Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Nakoneczny in the 16th minute of play. Joshua Arbi made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Boleslaw Zielinski. In the 27th minute, Boleslaw Zielinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maciej Kaczanek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Maciej Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes, Boleslaw Zielinski made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. STAL ST WOLA's Maciej Kaczanek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mao Hong Yang hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Boleslaw Zielinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. A collision led to Lyons getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Severo Basualdo hit a great ball. Maciej Kaczanek came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski. But to his dismay, Boleslaw Zielinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After having played for 43 minutes, Boleslaw Zielinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lyons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boleslaw Zielinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Severo Basualdo threw the ball into play from the sideline. STAL ST WOLA's Douglas Furlan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Maciej Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Lyons were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lyons's Cesar Remigio was substituted for Stig Åkerberg. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Remigio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Gustaw Bendyk got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cesar Remigio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maciej Kaczanek having to make a save. STAL ST WOLA's Maciej Kaczanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Remigio in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Andréas Stenkvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Cesar Remigio took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Maciej Kaczanek to make any attempt to save it. Maciej Kaczanek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Remigio in the 66th minute. Dariusz Roano in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maciej Kaczanek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. STAL ST WOLA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Cesar Remigio scored to the left of an out of position Maciej Kaczanek, making the score, 0-9. In the 78th minute Mao Hong Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. STAL ST WOLA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Cesar Remigio scored to the left of an out of position Maciej Kaczanek, making the score, 0-10. In the 84th minute of the game Severo Basualdo made a throw-in which Dariusz Roano played forward. With a little luck, STAL ST WOLA's Maciej Kaczanek got control of the ball when Cesar Remigio tried to sneak it across the goal line. STAL ST WOLA's Maciej Kaczanek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save STAL ST WOLA from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Lyons's Andréas Stenkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maciej Kaczanek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Maciej Kaczanek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Remigio in the 95th minute. The Lyons players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
