Kalazio's Lars-Erik Klack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Kalazio from getting a goal against them. Athletico Picapedrense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juanito Gabucio in the 9th minute. It was a well-played corner which Ali Ömer Ongu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Eloi Fontanella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Lars-Erik Klack made a huge save. Jesus Sayveon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Fagrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars-Erik Klack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 13th minute of play. Athletico Picapedrense were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Kalazio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juanito Gabucio took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Coronel Ribas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lars-Erik Klack quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Ali Ömer Ongu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Orlondo Aguado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Kielstedt in the 19th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Semih Işıldar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jesus Sayveon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rdth minute of the game Orlondo Aguado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kalazio's Lars-Erik Klack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars-Erik Klack made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Orlondo Aguado sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Athletico Picapedrense booed when Kalazio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Lars-Erik Klack managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Athletico Picapedrense's Orlondo Aguado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jesus Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semih Işıldar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Ivón Nafría was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Athletico Picapedrense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalazio the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Athletico Picapedrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivón Nafría to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Athletico Picapedrense's Ali Ömer Ongu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Semih Işıldar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eloi Fontanella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars-Erik Klack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jesus Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Blanck in the 67th minute of play. Lars-Erik Klack came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov. But to his dismay, Hristo Stoichkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 78th minute Coronel Ribas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Hristo Stoichkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Athletico Picapedrense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Kalazio's Arman Höijer was substituted for Josef Fagrell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristo Stoichkov in the 84th minute of play forced Kalazio's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Klack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars-Erik Klack came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov. But to his dismay, Hristo Stoichkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Kalazio's Birger Skytt was substituted for Ivan Fredriksson. 95 minutes into the match, Athletico Picapedrense's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Blanck came free, but Jesus Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes, Birger Skytt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalazio and the Athletico Picapedrense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Kalazio got a freekick which was hit by Birger Skytt. Athletico Picapedrense's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
