The score was now 1-0. Carlos Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Athletico Picapedrense's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Garcia came free, but Jesus Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloi Fontanella got free with Zé Gato in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Gato. Zé Gato yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Jesus Sayveon came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia. But to his dismay, Carlos Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 35th minute Orlondo Aguado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Gato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Onbera hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Zé Gato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save SITIO CITY from getting a goal against them. Jesus Sayveon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Garcia's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Zé Gato came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Athletico Picapedrense's Orlondo Aguado. But to his dismay, Orlondo Aguado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloi Fontanella to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Ali Ömer Ongu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Gato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SITIO CITY's Fabian Dalman was substituted for Kajetan Paulista. Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Reno Cartagena replaced Lorenzo Jubera. After 81 played minutes Athletico Picapedrense got a freekick which was hit by Ali Ömer Ongu. Coronel Ribas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hristo Stoichkov in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Gato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SITIO CITY's zone, Hristo Stoichkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Gato came out of the goal and Hristo Stoichkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd match minute, Athletico Picapedrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Klewinski to maneuver through the defense. SITIO CITY's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
