After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sharizan Soon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spanta Praga's supporters rose to their feet, but Sharizan Soon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelmiro Somarribas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gelmiro Somarribas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sharizan Soon went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gelmiro Somarribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sharizan Soon in the 18th minute of play. FC Flavia were furious when Mihăiţă Jugănaru was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. FC Flavia:s Gelmiro Somarribas showed great skill when he stopped Sharizan Soon:s penalty. Gelmiro Somarribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Maju in the 24th minute of the match. Davi Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Pierre Cantona in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Fabian Bratiloveanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Davi Paraense. The goal made the score 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sharizan Soon in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gelmiro Somarribas saved FC Flavia from getting behind. With an all-out effort, FC Flavia's Davi Paraense threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Bratiloveanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Flavia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sharizan Soon was slow to take the kick. During this time Spanta Praga's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Spanta Praga's Sharizan Soon to fire away a dangerous shot which Gelmiro Somarribas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 44th minute, Sharizan Soon made a precise shot to the right of Gelmiro Somarribas. FC Flavia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Gelmiro Somarribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sharizan Soon in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prudencio Maju to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Flavia's goalkeeper Gelmiro Somarribas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sharizan Soon made a great header on Spanta Praga's corner, it was just that FC Flavia's Gelmiro Somarribas managed to reach the ball for a save. When Spanta Praga's Prudencio Maju in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Maju in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Flavia's goalkeeper Gelmiro Somarribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelmiro Somarribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Kieca in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, FC Flavia's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Pinheiro came free, but Gelmiro Somarribas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelmiro Somarribas was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Elias Pinheiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Pinheiro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Gelmiro Somarribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Kieca in the 71st minute of play. After 73 played minutes, Spanta Praga's Bruninho Zanette shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gelmiro Somarribas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Spanta Praga reached it. The supporters of FC Flavia booed when Spanta Praga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spanta Praga's Agnaldo da Mata was substituted for Leandro de Souza. In the 78th minute, Osvaldo de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes FC Flavia got a freekick which was hit by Vali Grămescu. In the 83rd minute, Prudencio Maju ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gelmiro Somarribas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. 86 minutes into the game, Spanta Praga's Prudencio Maju nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gelmiro Somarribas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. In the 92nd play minute Richard Lopes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gelmiro Somarribas. 2-8. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Osvaldo de Almeida took a quick shot and it went in 2-9 without a chance for Gelmiro Somarribas to make any attempt to save it. Spanta Praga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
