Fırat Aytekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venancio Prejun's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Gonzo Maradona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Evandro Trancoso made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
