In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ccollopata 's goalkeeper Incendio Ayerdi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cereales's Agustin Fernado got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stephen Ubera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Tiso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Agustin Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cereales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Fernado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Ccollopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marques Ursueguia to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Eliazar Menendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Agustin Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Crescencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Incendio Ayerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, Cereales's Bernardo Crescencio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Incendio Ayerdi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andy Castropan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anibal Tiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Agustin Fernado made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Cereales's Agustin Fernado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Incendio Ayerdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Fernado in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Incendio Ayerdi saved Ccollopata from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Jerardo Sierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gonzalo George fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cereales's protests and gave Gonzalo George a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes, Cereales's Anibal Pueblo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Incendio Ayerdi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cereales reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Fernado in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Incendio Ayerdi saved Ccollopata from getting behind. If Andy Castropan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Fernado in the 92nd minute of play forced Ccollopata 's goalkeeper Incendio Ayerdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cereales's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
