Roseburn Rovers's Lawrence Knowles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nassim Agab in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Nassim Agab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Knowles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brendon Whittingham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelaziz Zemmam having to interfere. Nassim Agab's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lawrence Knowles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Lawrence Knowles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nassim Agab in the 15th minute of the match. Gaz Dothery charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaz Dothery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaz Dothery hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Lawrence Knowles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelhani Benyoucef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Nassim Agab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Knowles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Abdelhani Benyoucef left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frodsham United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nial Dearden took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdelaziz Zemmam. Frodsham United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Safi Drid notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Roseburn Rovers's Lawrence Knowles. Lawrence Knowles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frodsham United's Amattaken Muqaddem got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelhani Benyoucef blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lawrence Knowles having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Ring to strike the kick off in the second half. Lawrence Knowles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nassim Agab in the 55th minute. Lawrence Knowles made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Safi Drid sent off a good shot on target. Lawrence Knowles was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Faouzi Korteby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faouzi Korteby really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Lawrence Knowles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Safi Drid in the 63rd minute. Nassim Agab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Knowles having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Safi Drid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frodsham United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Safi Drid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Roseburn Rovers's Lawrence Knowles got control of the ball when Nassim Agab tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Ring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelaziz Zemmam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Frodsham United's Nassim Agab nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lawrence Knowles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 77th minute, Jerome Davies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Abdelhani Benyoucef managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frodsham United's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhani Benyoucef was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrence Knowles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Roseburn Rovers's zone, Nassim Agab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrence Knowles came out of the goal and Nassim Agab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Safi Drid got free with Lawrence Knowles in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdelaziz Zemmam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaz Dothery in the 89th minute of play. If Abdelhani Benyoucef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Roseburn Rovers's goalkeeper Lawrence Knowles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nassim Agab. Felix Ring scored 1-5 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdelaziz Zemmam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frodsham United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
