Guardamonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Socorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Sendoa in the 4th minute of play forced Cereales's goalkeeper Anibal Tiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Agustin Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cereales's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Fernado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Hanot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicanor Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, Guardamonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Quirce charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Quirce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anibal Tiso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustacio Socorro went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Cereales's Agustin Fernado in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guardamonte's Humberto Hanot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Guardamonte from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Crescencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Hanot having to interfere. Bernardo Crescencio in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Humberto Hanot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Agustin Fernado struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Humberto Hanot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cereales. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustacio Socorro to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Fernado during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 62 minutes into the match, Agustin Fernado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Guardamonte's Humberto Hanot. Humberto Hanot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Eustacio Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Tiso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eustacio Socorro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play. Anibal Tiso came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Guardamonte's Eustacio Socorro. But to his dismay, Eustacio Socorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 81 minutes into the match, Guardamonte's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Crescencio came free, but Humberto Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Quirce struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Humberto Hanot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cereales. In the 96th minute of the match Amado Galtero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Hanot skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Nicanor Sendoa sped through Cereales's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anibal Tiso.
