Elia Guidone started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Marques Ursueguia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 6 in the game by Elia Guidone from a close distance when the talented Incendio Ayerdi managed to make a qualified save. Ccollopata 's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Castropan in the 10th minute of play forced US Fulminea's goalkeeper Domenico Orrore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Traini hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Domenico Orrore came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ccollopata 's Stephen Ubera. But to his dismay, Stephen Ubera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elia Guidone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Incendio Ayerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ccollopata 's Incendio Ayerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Guidone in the 22nd minute of play. When Anselmo Savoia came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the US Fulminea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Savoia couldn't finish the play. The supporters of US Fulminea booed when Ccollopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitorino Montaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, US Fulminea's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Castropan came free, but Domenico Orrore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Prosperi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Incendio Ayerdi made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Elia Guidone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Incendio Ayerdi. The goal made the score 1-1. Filippo De Lorenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Incendio Ayerdi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Prosperi in the 45th minute. US Fulminea's Filippo De Lorenzi got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Andy Castropan made the kick off in the second half. If Concetto Brandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Nero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. Andy Castropan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Savoia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes, Elia Guidone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the US Fulminea and the Ccollopata players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of US Fulminea:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ccollopata :s goal. The goalkeeper, Domenico Orrore, was totally fooled by Ccollopata 's Ulizes Figueiras, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Filippo De Lorenzi struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Incendio Ayerdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for US Fulminea. Andy Castropan charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Castropan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andy Castropan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Domenico Orrore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Ubera in the 87th minute of play. Incendio Ayerdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Savoia, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ccollopata 's Incendio Ayerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo De Lorenzi in the 94th minute of play. US Fulminea's Filippo De Lorenzi got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ccollopata were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over US Fulminea's much stronger midfield.
