Cereales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Carioca in the 20th minute of play forced Cereales's goalkeeper Anibal Tiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fred Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lameirao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Tiso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cereales getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gonzalo George hit a great ball. Anibal Tiso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Carioca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Diogo Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cereales's Anibal Tiso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Mauro Millano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cereales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lameirao FC the free kick. The supporters of Lameirao FC booed when Cereales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Bernardo Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cereales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Crescencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Evandro Mineiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anibal Tiso. The goal made the score 0-3.
