Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lameirao FC's Diogo Carioca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The US Fulminea fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when US Fulminea's Elia Guidone looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anselmo Savoia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Francesco Nero kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gernando Pinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Domenico Orrore could save by the left post. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lameirao FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilvan Pires came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by US Fulminea's Filippo De Lorenzi. But to his dismay, Filippo De Lorenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Lameirao FC booed when US Fulminea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Brandini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Campidelis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domenico Orrore having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Ortiz during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Filippo De Lorenzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. US Fulminea's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo De Lorenzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fred Campidelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domenico Orrore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Gilvan Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Guidone in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Diogo Carioca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domenico Orrore saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jorge Ortiz was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jorge Ortiz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. US Fulminea's Domenico Orrore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save US Fulminea from getting a goal against them. Lameirao FC's Gilvan Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Prosperi in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elia Guidone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domenico Orrore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Carioca in the 54th minute of play. Elia Guidone might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilvan Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elia Guidone ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, Diogo Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Orrore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Campidelis in the 69th minute of play. Gilvan Pires stood somewhat misplaced when Elia Guidone came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 74 minute. Diogo Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes US Fulminea got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Brandini. A collision led to US Fulminea getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Bernardo Colasante hit a great ball. Domenico Orrore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Campidelis in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. US Fulminea had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
