Lawrence Knowles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Prosperi in the 8th minute. Domenico Orrore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Ring in the 9th minute of play. Lawrence Knowles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Guidone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Ellerton kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Roseburn Rovers's goalkeeper Lawrence Knowles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Prosperi. 15 minutes into the match, Roseburn Rovers's goalkeeper Lawrence Knowles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Brandini. 19 minutes into the game, Fabio Prosperi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lawrence Knowles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Roseburn Rovers booed when Fulminea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Savoia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Felix Ring fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roseburn Rovers's protests and gave Felix Ring a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Roseburn Rovers's Felix Ring got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Elia Guidone made a precise shot to the right of Lawrence Knowles. Roseburn Rovers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Lawrence Knowles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Savoia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Brandini in the 38th minute of play forced Roseburn Rovers's goalkeeper Lawrence Knowles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Roseburn Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Savoia came free, but Lawrence Knowles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Fabio Prosperi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lawrence Knowles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roseburn Rovers's Lawrence Knowles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Roseburn Rovers from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Ring stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Fabio Prosperi came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Fulminea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Prosperi couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Elia Guidone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lawrence Knowles. Roseburn Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elia Guidone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Concetto Brandini kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Filippo De Lorenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Knowles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lawrence Knowles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Guidone, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Roseburn Rovers's Lawrence Knowles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Guidone in the 65th minute of play. Gaz Dothery's late challenge caught a Fulminea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaz Dothery helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Roseburn Rovers getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gaz Dothery hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Roseburn Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Will Ellerton. In the 68th minute of the match Fausto Piattelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lawrence Knowles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lawrence Knowles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Prosperi in the 69th minute of play. Philip Wildman hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Anselmo Savoia charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Savoia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roseburn Rovers's Lawrence Knowles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Guidone in the 73rd minute of play. Anselmo Savoia scored 6-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lawrence Knowles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Terry Ryder fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roseburn Rovers's protests and gave Terry Ryder a yellow card for diving instead. Fabio Prosperi took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lawrence Knowles. Lawrence Knowles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Elia Guidone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fulminea getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Bernardo Traini hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Fulminea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
