The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dælur Reykjavík's Hagalín Olgeirsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Dælur Reykjavík from getting a goal against them. When Bjargþór Ævarsson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Anibal Tiso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hagalín Olgeirsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cereales. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Fernado made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dælur Reykjavík's Bjargþór Ævarsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anibal Tiso. Anibal Tiso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Gunnþór Guðlaugsson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Bjarnfreður Benediktsson charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bjarnfreður Benediktsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Dælur Reykjavík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarnfreður Benediktsson to maneuver through the defense. Amado Galtero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Tiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Ráðgeirsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gonzalo George hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Dælur Reykjavík's Anibal Tiso threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ragnar Ráðgeirsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hagalín Olgeirsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Fernado's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The supporters of Cereales booed when Dælur Reykjavík was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjargþór Ævarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Ragnar Ráðgeirsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hagalín Olgeirsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Crescencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dælur Reykjavík walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
