Elder Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Brandini, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Fulminea's Elia Guidone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elder Camargo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Washington Jacinto charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Washington Jacinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Angico AD's Washington Jacinto got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Elia Guidone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Camargo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Fulminea's Filippo De Lorenzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elder Camargo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Filippo De Lorenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Elder Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match Fausto Piattelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elder Camargo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Evandro Barral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domenico Orrore. The goal made the score 1-2. Elder Camargo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Fulminea's Elia Guidone. But to his dismay, Elia Guidone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Elder Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Savoia in the 40th minute of play. Filippo De Lorenzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elder Camargo having to make a save. Elder Camargo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Fulminea's Filippo De Lorenzi. But to his dismay, Filippo De Lorenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Angico AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fulminea were winning 1-4.

54 minutes into the match, Filippo De Lorenzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elder Camargo. Angico AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filippo De Lorenzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Anselmo Savoia might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elder Camargo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Savoia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Angico AD's Jorginho Varela got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69th match minute, Angico AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Fantini to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes of play, Fulminea's Filippo De Lorenzi made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elder Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeca Trancoso's late challenge caught a Fulminea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeca Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Zeca Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Filippo De Lorenzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Elder Camargo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domenico Orrore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Barral in the 78th minute of the match. Fabio Prosperi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Camargo having to interfere. If Anselmo Savoia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Bernardo Traini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fulminea's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Lira was slow to take the kick. During this time Angico AD's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pedro Lira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fulminea's Domenico Orrore did a great save. In the game's 95th minute Angico AD's Pedro Lira took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Domenico Orrore and thus the score was 2-7. When the final whistle sounded Fulminea left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Angico AD.
