The supporters of Lameirao FC booed when Roseburn Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaz Dothery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blair Cunningham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Campidelis in the 10th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Gaz Dothery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roseburn Rovers and the Lameirao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Diogo Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lameirao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blair Cunningham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blair Cunningham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Campidelis in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Jorge Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Cunningham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Roseburn Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Ortiz came free, but Blair Cunningham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Blair Cunningham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Roseburn Rovers's Philip Wildman got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jerome Davies charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerome Davies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blair Cunningham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Mineiro in the 34th minute of play. Gilvan Pires came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Roseburn Rovers's Felix Ring. But to his dismay, Felix Ring quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Roseburn Rovers's Blair Cunningham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Campidelis in the 39th minute of play. Diogo Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blair Cunningham having to interfere. Diogo Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Diogo Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Lameirao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Carioca couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Roseburn Rovers's zone, Fred Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blair Cunningham came out of the goal and Fred Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogo Carioca was the one to do the kick off. Philip Wildman kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Diogo Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Roseburn Rovers's zone, Fred Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blair Cunningham came out of the goal and Fred Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd match minute, Roseburn Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-Paul Baxter to maneuver through the defense. Blair Cunningham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Ortiz in the 64th minute of the match. Blair Cunningham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lameirao FC's Diogo Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Ring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Pires having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Diogo Carioca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blair Cunningham. That made the score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. In the 85th minute, Fred Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blair Cunningham was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Roseburn Rovers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Diogo Carioca scored to the left of an out of position Blair Cunningham, making the score, 1-4. In the 92nd minute, Silvinho Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Roseburn Rovers getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gus Charles hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the game, Fred Campidelis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Blair Cunningham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Lameirao FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Roseburn Rovers throughout the match.
