The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Bernardo Colasante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fabio Prosperi fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fulminea's protests and gave Fabio Prosperi a yellow card for diving instead. 16 minutes into the match, Fulminea's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Campidelis came free, but Domenico Orrore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fulminea's Concetto Brandini got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Anselmo Savoia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilvan Pires, 1-0. Filippo De Lorenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gilvan Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Orrore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Pinho in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Lameirao FC's Gilvan Pires got control of the ball when Filippo De Lorenzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elia Guidone made a kick off. The supporters of Fulminea booed when Lameirao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Guidone in the 53rd minute of play forced Lameirao FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Prosperi in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fulminea's Domenico Orrore got control of the ball when Fred Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 minutes, Elia Guidone made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lameirao FC's Gilvan Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilvan Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Prosperi in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Fulminea's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Carioca came free, but Domenico Orrore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Savoia kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lameirao FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Elia Guidone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fulminea were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lameirao FC for a fine match.
