The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Elia Guidone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cemberlitas FK's Mustafa Hakan Taykut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Domenico Orrore successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Concetto Brandini hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Domenico Orrore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batuğ Zeynur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Anselmo Savoia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulminea's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Savoia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Hakan Taykut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domenico Orrore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batuğ Zeynur, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Cemberlitas FK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nadir Felek hit a great ball. Domenico Orrore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batuğ Zeynur in the 26th minute of the match. Batuğ Zeynur succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Filippo De Lorenzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulminea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo De Lorenzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes Cemberlitas FK got a freekick which was hit by Temel Acabay. Filippo De Lorenzi struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mustafa Hakan Taykut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulminea. Filippo De Lorenzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Hakan Taykut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cemberlitas FK's zone, Bernardo Colasante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hakan Taykut came out of the goal and Bernardo Colasante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francesco Nero kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Batuğ Zeynur made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Filippo De Lorenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo De Lorenzi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mustafa Hakan Taykut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulminea. 63 minutes into the game, Elia Guidone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mustafa Hakan Taykut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Anselmo Savoia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulminea's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Savoia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippo De Lorenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mustafa Hakan Taykut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo De Lorenzi got free with Mustafa Hakan Taykut in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the game, one of Cemberlitas FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fausto Piattelli placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Concetto Brandini hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Fulminea's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
