FC Schwalbe from getting a goal against them. Kurt Zondervan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gilvan Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Mülder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reinhard de Jong was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Fred Campidelis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fred Campidelis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Edgard Mülder came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the 1. FC Schwalbe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Mülder couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Kurt Zondervan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fred Campidelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Reinhard de Jong made a huge save. Reinhard de Jong made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Fred Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. Kurt Zondervan took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilvan Pires. Gilvan Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gilvan Pires came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by 1. FC Schwalbe's Edgard Mülder. But to his dismay, Edgard Mülder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Campidelis got free with Reinhard de Jong in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Hesp during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Humberto Hesp kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Kurt Zondervan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilvan Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Zondervan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

52 minutes into the match, Lameirao FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Mülder. If Kurt Zondervan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Diogo Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Lameirao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Carioca couldn't finish the play. Kurt Zondervan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goal made the score 1-4. 68 minutes into the match, Lameirao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Zondervan came free, but Gilvan Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Kurt Zondervan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilvan Pires, passed just outside the right post. Kurt Zondervan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Fred Campidelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lameirao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Reinhard de Jong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kurt Zondervan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilvan Pires. That made the score 2-6 in the 81 minute of play. Lameirao FC's Gilvan Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Zondervan in the 86th minute of play. Kurt Zondervan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1. FC Schwalbe were furious when Klaus Schol was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of 1. FC Schwalbe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lameirao FC:s goal. Evandro Mineiro placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Reinhard de Jong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1. FC Schwalbe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
